Introduction

Bridge is at its best when two people build understanding over time: shared judgement, trust under pressure, disciplined agreements, and the ability to survive both triumph and catastrophe with humour intact.

I’m an experienced female player returning to bridge after nearly ten years away from the competitive game.

Previously a strong player, I’m now rediscovering conventions, partnerships, and the occasional entirely avoidable overtrick. My aim is to build a serious long-term partnership with another woman who enjoys competitive bridge, European travel, and the process of becoming a genuinely strong pair together.

European tournaments and congress travel

Interest in building sound agreements and a dependable convention card

Competitive spirit and genuine ambition

Someone who can take the occasional heat of serious bridge in good spirit and laugh at bad boards once the smoke clears

I value:

Competitive drive

Partnership trust

Reliability

Humour at the right moments

Emotional resilience

Curiosity and willingness to improve

Bridge can occasionally involve animated post-mortems, ambitious contracts, and entirely preventable disasters, so the ability to laugh at oneself is essential. I’m far more interested in building a partnership with resilience, compatibility, and shared ambition than finding perfection on day one.
